ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Sr Finance Associate
You will be the core operator of Finance at Nextail, owning the full monthly close cycle, forecasting, and the day-to-day financial operations of the company. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, and leadership. This is a high-ownership role for someone who is rigorous, proactive, and comfortable navigating both operational detail and strategic context.
Key responsibilities
Monthly close & forecasting — Own the end-to-end monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Maintain and update rolling forecasts.
Financial reporting & audit — Prepare internal and external financial reports, support the annual accounts process, and act as point of contact for auditors.
Accounting & bookkeeping — Record and review accounting entries in Holded, maintain the general ledger, and ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC).
Client billing & collections — Manage the full invoice-to-cash cycle.
Treasury & cash flow — Monitor treasury positions, prepare cash flow forecasts.
Ad hoc finance support — Contribute to contract reviews, commission calculations, KYB processes, and strategic finance projects as the business evolves.
